Our Statement of Faith
The biblical convictions that anchor Hope Christian School, our teaching, and our community.
01The Holy Scripture
We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is uniquely inspired by God and serves as our final, infallible authority for faith and life.
02God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three co-equal Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Sovereign Creator and Sustainer of all things.
03Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. Born of a virgin, He lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died as the substitutionary sacrifice for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will return in glory.
04Salvation
We believe humanity was created in God's image with inherent dignity, but became separated from Him through sin. Salvation is a free gift received by God's grace alone, through faith in Jesus Christ.
05The Holy Spirit and Discipleship
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, renewing our hearts and empowering us to love God wholeheartedly, love others sacrificially, and grow in godly character, wisdom, and holiness.
06The Church
We believe the Church is the unified body of Christ, called to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, and serve others.
07Marriage and Human Design
We believe that God created humanity as male and female, equal in value, and designed marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman.
08Christ's Return
We believe that Jesus Christ will personally and visibly return to judge the living and the dead, establish His eternal kingdom, and make all things new. Believers will enjoy eternal life in God's presence, and God's redemptive plan will be fulfilled forever.
